SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the U.S.
President of the Respiratory Business Unit, this
position will manage a staff of training
professionals engaged in all phases of sales
training and customer-facing clinical education.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with business leadership to identify
needs for technical or selling skills
development
Oversee all phases of instructional design,
implementation and evaluation
Drive continuous improvement in training
content and department structure to meet
evolving business needs
Engage with sales leadership in training
opportunities at regional and national sales
meetings
Align with product marketing teams to support
collateral material and programs for existing
portfolio and new product launches
Effectively model and coach in delivery of
training content
Staff and develop sales training team to build
robust skill set and attractive career path
Manage annual department expense budget and
forecast
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Training Managers supporting the
respective divisions within the Respiratory
Global Business Unit
Manager of Clinical Education supporting
continuing education programs
Sales Training Coordinators
Requirements QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors Degree in Business or related
degree with emphasis in sales and marketing
preferred. Masters degree in related field
preferred
5 plus years in sales, sales training, and
sales management required
Direct experience with training content
development and adult learning strategies
preferred
SKILLS:
Significant knowledge of medical device
industry
Consistent track record of attracting and
developing talent
Effective verbal and written communication
skills |
